Memorial Day Vacation

Memorial Day this year was alot of fun and what
a better way to spend it other than with family..
We went down with Nate's brother matt and
his family and our good friends Tassie and Jeremy.
Nate's dad bought a house out in St.George
and we have been loving it..It's been fun to go
down for the week and go swimming, shopping,
hiking, biking you name it. I just love St.George
The first night we got there we wanted to take the kids
swimming but the weather was too cool and windy
so we ended up taking the kids to this restraunt that's
kind of like the Mayan and it's called pirates pizza the
kids loved it and had alot of fun the whole restraunt is decorated
like a ship with pirates everywhere.
The next day it was nice enough that we went
swimming the whole day it was fun and the kids had a
good time and I loved it even more because that night they came
home and crashed.
The last day we took the kids and let them run and hike on the
rocks and I know the boys really enjoyed it especially
when they had little lizards running around everywhere
gross!!!!!
The trip was great and just what I needed
I just wish it was a little bit longer..

Happy Mothers Day Mom...

This mothers day was so nice!!I can't think of
a better day to spend it. It first started off with
the morning with Jordan coming in saying Happy
Moda's day mom do u want you pwesents!!It was
so cute. I am the luckiest mom in the whole world
to have four healthy beautiful children who I adore
I am so blessed to be there mom. I have learned
that being a mom is not an easy job but it is the
best job I have ever had..I now know what my
mom went through to raise us and the sacrifices
she went through to make us not go with out. I just
want her to know how much I love and appreciate
her..Also the day before mothers day we decided
we would do the breast cancer walk in honor of
my grandma Dodds who has been a survivor! But
we showed up that day and We didn't get to do
it because we didn't know we had to register
before the event. My sister Lacinda did it last
year and she just told us you show up and donate
money to the cause..Well I guess they changed it
this year least we know for next time..But we still
had alot of fun supporting the cause it was me, Heather,
Tassie,LaCinda, and Tami.We got pink shirts and cheered
people on it was so neat to see all the families out there
supporting each other even men there was alot of guys
wearing pink I just thought that was so awesome!!! And
it was also nice just having a day out with the girls...Even
though we did have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning..

What an Amazing day.

WOW!! My little girl is finally baptized
and everything went so good I couldn't have
asked for a more perfect day. It's weird because
life just goes by so fast it just seems like we
just had her. I knew that day I was going to cry
but I think crying was an understatment.
I was so emotional the whole day I don't
even know why I put on makeup because
it didn't stay on. I am so proud of the decision
Aubrey made to get baptized she is such
a special spirit in our house she is always
reminding us that we need to read
our scriptures or say our family prayers.
And since she has been baptized there
is such a glow about her and innocence I almost
can't explain it but I am so truly greatful
for this gospel and the knowledge that
we have to know that one day we will live
with our father in Heaven. I hope Aubrey
knows how much I am greatful for the gospel
and what it means in my life and I do know
that families are forever. I am kind of bummed
though because I didn't get to take any pictures
of Aubrey and Nate in there white clothes because
the bishop started conducting right away, oh we'll
guess I'll just have to go back and just stage it and
take them anyway...poor Nate he hates pictures.
But least I know Aubreys game..I love you baby girl
always remember that no matter how hard life
gets you can always count on me I will always
be your number one fan...
