The Ogden Marathon.

Well I did it!!! I ran my first marathon. And
I can't tell you how many times I tried talking
my self out of it..It was so awesome I am so glad I
did it..My friend shauna and I have been training
non stop since october and we both can't believe
it came and gone..I am so glad I had her to train
with cause I know there is no way I would have done
it with out her..I also got to run with my little
sister and my step mom and her sister it was such
a blast we stayed in the hotel the night before and went
out to dinner and just relaxed. The next morning we got
up at4 in the morning and the bus took us up to the mountain
it was insane I couldn't believe how many people were up there
it got me all excited..When the gun shot off
we waited a minute and then we started running I stayed
at a good pace, I told my self I want to run this marathon
in 4 hours and 30 minutes..I never thought I would
do it but I never stopped running until I hit a wall at
23 miles WOW!!!!
I was like r u serious I still have 3.2 miles
left to run..I was seriously dead but this nice guy kept pushing
me the whole way he was so nice..
I know I couldn't have pushed my
self without him. I called Nate and my dad at mile
25 and told them I
was close and the last mile was the best everyone was pushing you telling
you..come on your almost there...
And to my suprise I beat my goal
I ran the whole marathon in 4 hours and 19 minutes...I was shocked
seriously and I was so excited to see everyone there supporting me.
I have the best family and friends in the whole world. And most
of all a wonderful husband he
brought my four kids all by himself
did the girls hair as you can tell from the picture above..lol I love it
and he is the reason I ran as fast as I did..I don't know if
there is another marathon in the future but there
might be a triatholon well see..

  6. I have to admit...I'm having withdrawals from it all. Like, serious withdrawals! It's kind of like the same feeling as homesickness! Does that make me crazy? I kind of wish we were signed up for St. George. I'm so glad we got to do this together!
